When to use a number lookup
A number lookup is ideal when you already have an application or registration number and want the details fast — for example to verify a supplier or partner’s trademark, confirm ownership before signing an agreement, or check a mark cited against your own. It is more direct than a name search when you know the exact number.
What the record shows
The record draws on the Department of Industry’s Industrial Property Bulletins and can include the mark name, owner/applicant, NICE class, application number and logo. If you only have the brand name, use the full trademark search or the conflict checker instead.
