These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ipsewa.com and the services provided by Lawyers Nepal Platform Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "IP Sewa"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms.

Our services

IP Sewa provides an online intellectual-property search database and professional filing services for trademarks, patents and industrial designs before the Department of Industry, Government of Nepal. We act as your service provider and representative in preparing and filing applications; we do not decide the outcome of any application.

Your account

• You must provide accurate, complete information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
• Accounts are for the registered user or organisation; do not share access for improper use.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure you have the right to file the marks, inventions or designs you submit, and that the documents you upload are genuine and accurate.
• Respond promptly to requests for information or documents needed to progress your matter.
• Do not use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to infringe others' rights, or to scrape, overload or disrupt the service.

First-to-file & outcomes

Nepal operates a first-to-file system. Filing early improves your position but does not guarantee registration. Registration, examination, publication, the 90-day opposition window and renewal are governed by the Department of Industry and applicable Nepali law. We cannot guarantee that any application will be accepted or that any registration will be free of challenge.

Fees & payment

Government fees are set by the Department of Industry and are payable in addition to our professional service fees. Fees are quoted before you commit. Payment terms, refunds and cancellations are covered in our Refund Policy. Paid search access is subject to the plan you purchase.

Intellectual property in the platform

The IP Sewa platform, its software, design, database compilation and content are owned by or licensed to Lawyers Nepal Platform Pvt. Ltd. You may use them only to access the services. You retain ownership of the content and documents you submit.

Limitation of liability

The platform and search data are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or decisions of the Department of Industry or other authorities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the service fees you paid to us for the matter concerned.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the platform. You may close your account at any time; obligations that by their nature survive termination (such as fees due and confidentiality) continue.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Kathmandu have jurisdiction over any dispute. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
