Refund policy

This Refund Policy explains when payments made to Lawyers Nepal Platform Pvt. Ltd. ("IP Sewa") are refundable. It applies to professional service fees, government fees and paid search access.

Government fees

Official fees paid to the Department of Industry (application and registration fees) are collected by the government and are non-refundable once the application has been submitted, regardless of the outcome, because they are paid to a third-party authority.

Professional service fees

• If you cancel before we begin work on your matter, your professional service fee is refundable, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
• Once work has started (for example a clearance search, drafting your goods and services, or preparing the filing), fees for work already performed are non-refundable. Any unused balance for work not yet done may be refunded at our discretion.
• We do not refund professional fees because an application is refused, opposed or challenged — outcomes are decided by the Department of Industry and are outside our control.

Paid search access

Search passes and search-credit bundles give immediate access to paid features and are generally non-refundable once purchased. If a technical fault on our side prevented you from using access you paid for, contact us and we will restore access or refund the affected amount.

Duplicate or failed payments

If you were charged twice for the same purchase, or money was deducted but access or the service was not delivered, contact us with your payment reference. We will verify the transaction with the payment provider and refund any duplicate or undelivered charge.

How to request a refund

Email info@ipsewa.com with your account email, the payment reference and the reason for your request. We aim to review requests within a reasonable time and process approved refunds to your original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider.
